I’m Tejanath Pokharel, a former educator. I have a strong interest in social service as well. I adore the children. To enable the most impoverished, defenseless, and orphaned children in the Sankhuwasabha area to attend school and receive a top-notch education we established an NGO entitled Sankhuwasabha Education Scholarship Foundation (SESF) in 1997 in Khandbari. Slice its establishment I have been serving to be a secretary-treasurer of the organization.
We have founded the nonprofit Makalu Arun Social Trek (MAST) in Khandbari to make this the SESF’s steady source of funding. In the Makalu Arun Valley region of eastern Nepal, MAST arranges, plans, or facilitates social trekking that is friendly to the community for those who are interested. I am the organization’s chairwoman.
